Beat the Init with our Mais Con Yelo Shake

Relive Nostalgic Filipino Flavors with a Refreshing Twist

Manila | 1 July 2024 – Our 5th birthday celebration is just getting started and we're excited to bring the Mais Con Yelo Shake, a delightful nod to a beloved Filipino classic. This limited-time treat is a cool addition to your favorite Shake Shack menu items, and spinning a local flavor to our anniversary festivities.

The Mais Con Yelo Shake (P285) is a sweet and refreshing blend that captures the nostalgia of childhood street games and hot summers in the Philippines. Each sip is a luscious mix of creamed corn and sweet corn kernels, combined with our rich, creamy vanilla frozen custard. The shake is topped with crisp cornflakes, adding a satisfying crunch, and a pleasant mix of textures and flavors that will transport you to carefree summer or even rainy days.

Inspired by the popular Filipino roadside and dessert staple, mais con yelo, our Mais Con Yelo Shake elevates this all-day sweet and frozen snack to new heights. Traditionally enjoyed as a refreshing treat to beat the tropical heat, mais con yelo combines shaved ice, sweet corn, and milk, often topped with leche flan. Shake Shack's version keeps the heart of this classic while introducing our signature creamy vanilla frozen custard for an indulgent twist.

The Mais Con Yelo Shake will be available in all Manila Shacks (except NAIA Terminal 3) starting July  1, for a very short time only!
